Rats Nest Games just released an awesome piece of Aketon compatible content for all the masses to enjoy!

This seems to be the first part in a series of Artifact Zines, this one specifying in strange tomes that your players can find and reading, granting unique powers. They range from harmless to setting-altering and each have their own full write-ups. Here’s the overview:

• The Cryptonomicon – Provides secure communication but does not significantly alter gameplay
• The Miser’s Ledger – Grants financial insight, with potential for greed-based character consequences
• The Pathfinder’s Log – Expedites travel but introduces minor risks of misdirection
• The Reflected Lexicon – Enables real-time observation, but occasionally disrupts expectations
• The Glutinous Grimoire – Grants powerful spells at the cost of growing demands, possibly altering character motivations
• The Necrological Register – Can reveal knowledge from the dead, with escalating consequences and potential undead interference.
• The Book of Hollow Oaths – Imposes magical contracts that enforce oaths, with severe consequences for breaking them
• The Unraveling Codex – Answers any question but increases madness risk, leading to drastic character shifts and potentially death
• Codicil of the Bibliophage – Amplifies magic but consumes knowledge, potentially erasing vital tomes and reshaping the world’s understanding
• The Almanac of the False Sun – Alters celestial reality itself, eventually shifting the world or transporting characters elsewhere
