More Spells
There are four more spells available for everyone, not just those with full rules! Once they’re all laid out I plan on giving the Quickstart access to all the spells because spells are cool and a fun part of the system for players to see (I’m beginning to treat the Quickstart as essentially a free player’s handbook).
Dealing with Roll Bloat
In the last update I made a last second decision that in hindsight wasn’t great. I had it so armor and size did not reduce damage, it reduced the power of the attack, and for armor this was a roll. The issue here was that A) it was untested and B) it slowed the game down a lot. I did this because I had some idea that effecting damage instead of power was confusing (don’t know where I got this from, no one has complained). So it’s reverted to roughly its pre-launch rules.
Changes to Delving
Light sources now burn down once per hour (it can still burn down faster during delves) and encounters during delves are twice as likely. This should make things more urgent (there was a lot of wandering around in the past, not enough hiding or ambushing wandering monsters in my games).
